ZIEIS Lb Capacity Medium Pet Review

My wife and I purchased a Zieis 30# digital scale to track the weight gain and loss of our 3 cats. Our vet uses the same scale and positively influenced our purchase decision. It's accurate, easy to use, stable, and has a low profile that doesn't seem to intimidate cats as much as higher scales, making it easier to store. We highly recommend this, as do our cats.

We have two older cats, one with CKD and one with IBD. We need to track their weight to make sure they are eating enough and not losing weight. This scale is perfect for that. I like the ability to change the type of units and the metal plate for cleaning. I also like that it plugs into an outlet so I don't need batteries. It seems very accurate compared to my vet's scale. I would highly recommend this scale if you need a pet to keep track of.

This is our second Zeiss scale. We loved our first, larger scale for its ease of use and accuracy in weighing our very large rescue girl and our very small kittens, but they were cumbersome to carry around. This model is easy to carry from room to room and weighs our newborn kits very accurately. The display is clear and easy to read, and the settings are easy to navigate and calibrate. There's an auto shut off if you forget this, but it doesn't interfere with weighing multiple kittens.

I bought this scale to weigh foster cats. The scale is easy to use. However, I have a suggestion. Currently, the metal shell is larger at the top than the base that supports it. Every time I put my 13kg kitten on it to be weighed, it doesn't stop and ends up flipping it over. Obviously this scares him and I have to start all over again.
