Suitable for lighter conditions

I bought them mainly to hang bikes in the garage. My plan was to hang them on the wheel by inserting hooks into the rafters. Unfortunately, the hooks are not strong enough for this. They began to bend as the hook straightened. Of course, this was a big, purpose-built cruiser, so it's heavier than, say, a road bike. I could use the hooks for other things and they came in handy.
