I bought these with protein in mind for my grandkids who play sports and don't always get as much protein and vitamins as they do they need. They didn't care about taste or texture, though. very grainy and you could really taste the vitamins and minerals. It's not that they're terrible, but they're a bit picky. I didn't send them back (because I had to pay for shipping) but dropped them off at our local food bank in hopes that maybe someone else could use them. I just stick with the others I buy all the time and know the guys like them no doubt. With mixed reviews about them I bought them anyway. It was worth it. Oh!
