I really like my TPT lead. It is made of durable material, looks stylish and perfect for sports shorts. This is the reason I bought it as I wear gym shorts to work and hate heavy bags. I bought black razor blades for this and initially had problems with the locking mechanism. Every time I pressed the blade, she just pushed it back. Well it turns out. it was user error. The way you switch blades is unlike most. You must rotate the blade and partially open the case to remove/replace the blade. Then you pull back the lock. Well, I guess I didn't put the blade all the way in and that's why it didn't snap into place. I finally found out when I changed blades again. Anyway, I've had this little guy for a few months now with no problems, it still looks great and works perfectly. The pole is also very strong. I've used it for paint cans, security systems (work) and many other things. Still looks like new. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but you get what you pay for. Until I lose him, he will be with me forever.
