Review on 🍃 Betta Bed Leaf Hammock by Zoo Med by Christy Wood

This little sheet is pretty standard when it comes to Betta aquarium setup. The sheet fits snugly in the suction cup and stays in place in the corners of the suction cup. The suction cup stays in place even in my 5 gallon plastic betta so overall it's a quality piece of aquarium decor. I'm pretty sure this will work well on glass aquarium walls too. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because rooster fish can be fickle when it comes to deciding what they like and don't like about aquarium decor. Because male bettas are aggressive and territorial, anything that resembles another betta or fish can become a target for aggression. However, when I put this leaf in the aquarium for the first time, I placed it separately from the other plants. My betta mistook it for another fish and didn't like it and was aggressive towards it. I then moved it to another location with plants that my Betta already liked and he started avoiding that location. I finally removed the leaf and left it with its original plants. I'm sure some bettas will appreciate this leaf and will find it for sure, but my betta didn't like it so this is something to watch out for and look out for when putting a leaf in an aquarium for the first time.
