The side pockets open perfectly
This bag stands out from the rest because of the zippers on the side pockets. It has zippers to open the pockets at the top. Other bags have weird zippered side pockets that open like wings. This allows items to sit in open pockets and not get enough sleep. Lightning everything works fine. The hook also easily fits into a small loop inside the bag. Thus, the main zipper can be opened and closed without disturbing the hook. Overall this is a great bag to hold a lot of things. The capacity is certainly enough to store your gear for longer than a weekend. But it's definitely significant. So don't expect to cram it into a tiny weekend.
