Review on Schumacher DSR108 450A Batteryless Starter by Andre Arias

I've had my eye on this particular supercapacitor starter for a while as I've had good luck with other Schumacher branded products. They are slightly more expensive than some competitors. Luckily my wife's Subaru Forester started struggling in the morning just a week after receiving this item. I connected it to the battery and saw an 8V charge. I pressed the power button and waited about 3 minutes for the LED indicators to charge fully, turned off the ignition and started the car. I used this a total of 4 times before realizing the battery needed replacing but all 4 times it was easy to use and started the car every time. The device is compact and light enough to be easily stowed in the trunk, and the lack of an internal battery, like some devices have, means you never have to keep it charged or worry about the Heat kills you over time. I highly recommend this for build quality, ease of use and life expectancy.
