Now "THIS " is the "MOST " solution for a quick start into winter!

Wooooffffff! This is the answer for launchers! I drive very little, but when I need to, the battery drains due to cold, frosty weather. I've tried Noco Li-Ion jumpers but they die in the cold too! With this ultracapacitor my large SUV Toyota Sequoia 5.7L starts without any problems! Boom! I'm amazed! And the best? It can stay in a cold car waiting to be used, it won't be exhausted by the cold! This device is sick! An irreplaceable thing! Requires a battery down to 9 volts - not enough to start…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Safety

My job includes helping motorists who are in trouble. I have a lot of experience with jump machines. I am familiar with this vaulting box and am very interested in it because of its advantages over the normal vaulting box. I don't like loading up my jump box and leaving it fully loaded in the trunk in the FL heat waiting for it to explode. This product makes more sense for most people. I have attempted to jump onto 2 separate 4 cylinder cars on 2 separate occasions. In both cases the voltage…

DOA but I fixed it, it works fine now

Poor quality control. The unit didn't work when it arrived, but I was in the middle of moving and packed it somewhere. After two years I found it and decided to reuse ultracapacitors for another project. During disassembly I found a cracked solder joint, so the positive pole was not connected to the circuit board, but only to the electromagnetic switch. Bad design, bad soldering, no quality control. After I soldered another longer connector it works fine. I can add a small switch to start the…

Easy to use, compact and always works

I've had my eye on this particular supercapacitor starter for a while as I've had good luck with other Schumacher branded products. They are slightly more expensive than some competitors. Luckily my wife's Subaru Forester started struggling in the morning just a week after receiving this item. I connected it to the battery and saw an 8V charge. I pressed the power button and waited about 3 minutes for the LED indicators to charge fully, turned off the ignition and started the car. I used this a

16.3V Net power 2Wh

Device tested and loaded with a constant 50W load and it took 143 seconds to any level of 9V which I think is useful for starting the car would be limit. That's about 2 watt hours. The total output power up to a cut-off voltage of 6V was 2.46Wh. It is a lightweight and easy-to-carry device with cables connected directly to the device, which is a bit easier to handle than other types with separate switch controller and cables. The input current is also limited to around 10A by the battery…

Fast, easy, amazing!

If you're looking for a launcher that works when you need it, this is the one for you! Although they all worked well, after about a year they no longer hold a charge and the battery needs to be replaced. constant charge when not in use. This is really a simple solution. I used the DSR109 on a Subaru Outback that had the inverter on overnight. It charged in about 4 minutes and the car started without hesitation. I also used the DSR109 on my Ford F250 (Diesel 6.0) as a demo - I loaded the DSR109…

This is the real deal!

Unlike devices that contain lithium-ion batteries (which degrade horribly if stored in a warm place for several months and do not work in the cold), this device only contains supercapacitors. As explained in the product description, it can be charged with an almost empty car battery. Or the car battery of another car, in which case it behaves like a conventional jump lead. But if you insist that the lithium-ion battery "carries energy" - no problem! Just take a fully charged power bank with you

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • old

This is a very good product. Supercapacitors are used instead of a battery. I like mine a lot and have used them several times. My car has a very small battery (think the size of a lawn mower or motorcycle battery) so it tends to discharge suddenly without much warning (thanks automotive engineers!). The backpack goes with me in the trunk all the time and has saved me from waiting for AAA late at night or a few times in the rain. Before that I was always stuck begging for help from strangers…
