Unlike devices that contain lithium-ion batteries (which degrade horribly if stored in a warm place for several months and do not work in the cold), this device only contains supercapacitors. As explained in the product description, it can be charged with an almost empty car battery. Or the car battery of another car, in which case it behaves like a conventional jump lead. But if you insist that the lithium-ion battery "carries energy" - no problem! Just take a fully charged power bank with you and charge your device with it in case you get stuck. Of course, it takes half an hour to an hour to charge the device from the power bank (it takes about 1000-1500 mAh to charge from the power bank, I measured), but how often do you get stuck a) with a dead battery, b ) the battery is completely empty, so the device cannot be charged with an empty battery, and c) you don't have half an hour to get out of this situation? Let me bet other devices' LiIo batteries will be dead by the time you need them. In exchange for this device, you get a box that can be safely stored in the car for years and simply thrown in the car when you hit the road. everyone seems to be doing that these days anyway. I'm surprised to see so many listed LiIo devices that I know will be wasted in 2-3 years and almost none like this box which should be kept in a car permanently for 10-20 years.
