Review on 💻 GIGABYTE AERO 17 HDR XD - Ultimate 4K Creator Laptop with RTX 3070, Intel Core i7, and 1TB SSD by Clayton Jimenez

I've had this for a few days now. The only upgrade I've made is adding a second NVME (2TB). This laptop takes 7-10 seconds to cold boot. It can easily multitask under heavy loads (even with 16GB of RAM). I'm not a real gamer, so I can't comment on that. However, for Photoshop, Autocad and 4k film editing, this laptop is more than adequate for processing. The fact that it has a 4k HDR display is insane to me. This display is literally stunning. HDR is "entry level HDR" so it doesn't look like my TV but photos/videos look amazing on my laptop! (Update after 1 month) This laptop is perfect after 1 month! I encountered only one problem after installing GEFORCE. AN EXPERIENCE. it causes random BSOD. Removing fixed everything. I upgraded again to 64 GB RAM. The included 16 GB should be sufficient for the average user. but I would at least recommend upgrading it to 32GB at some point. It's very quiet when you search the web, watch YouTube or Autocad, or even edit videos/photos. When my son used it for Minecraft you can start to hear the fans spinning after the laptop heats up. nothing too loud (update for 2 months, last update if nothing happens). So, after a few months of use, I noticed that when using the laptop on battery power, the screen randomly flashes black from time to time. This is easily fixed by updating the Intel graphics driver to the latest version (latest version at the time of testing: 30.0.100.9805). Everything else works great as expected! I really like this laptop!
