Although the overall design is good, the pads are too thin and need to be glued on. After two days of use and constantly re-attaching the pads, we finally stuck them back on. The pads are thin and creep all over the place, exposing straps and supports on bare skin. We bought it to replace a doctor-supplied one that didn't have a belt, which is crucial for keeping the hips in place while walking. I ended up modifying the original so I could use the strap on it. If it weren't for the gasket issue this would be a wonderful find.
