This device is very good for its price! Highly recommended. I use it for my acoustic setup driving signal processors and mixer. Works well when used correctly. Building is cheap. Revain was supposed to ship them in big boxes with pillow packing material. MY FIRST COMES WITHOUT PACKAGING AND WAS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING. My replacement part was intact but packed right away without the pillow. The only difference is that shipping has been expedited, so there is less loading and handling involved when moving. Revain customer service was VERY HELPFUL in arranging this expedited shipping for me at no additional cost. I did my packaging check with Revain and they confirmed it. We hope this helps others. It has 702 joules of surge protection.*** There seems to be some confusion as to when this device regulates voltage, and one has to read the specs to find out. For most in the US, 120 volts is the norm. So with this set up it has a range of -12% to +6% around 120 volts mean voltage according to specs. Most power adapters for electronic devices are designed for the area covered by that device.
