Review on Masterson Rinse Well: The Ultimate Solution for Cleaning Paint and Craft Brushes with Fresh Water by Carrie Spencer

Let's talk seriously about the pros and cons of

Okay folks. I'm a professional face painter, as are probably many of you. I'm going to make a list of the good and bad things about this system. It was a great idea, but every plus is offset by a minus. For example, change the visible water very quickly, which can convince parents of good hygiene. The area where you wash the brush is so small that the water will look dirty again anyway. So if they don't see you changing the water, you're the only one who can tell it was changed in the first place. + For hygiene reasons, you can change the water between each baby - not all the water is gone when you press the button, to flush out the old water! Thanks to the design of the washing zone, even if you keep the button pressed for as long as possible, by letting the water drain as quickly as possible, something (more than ideal) remains behind. So is what was in that last piece of water. + Large water storage. about two top sized containers can be emptied to the ground before needing to be emptied - Actually there are no downsides. + Has tabs for washing brushes - Comb trap paint and brush basins are actually very shallow making it difficult to get it clean + Convenient automatic filtering of water into the brush rinse area by gravity like the big water things they are sold for cats and dogs , so the water is refilled - I seemed to be sick often! Two of my friends and I studied it, one is an engineer, the other is a physicist and I am a painter (yes, I'm a funny person) and we couldn't understand why. At first it was assumed that he was facing the wrong way / not just because he can move freely from side to side while seated, but that didn't solve the problem. Most of the time this worked, but quite often I had to lift and slide the water tank a bit. And no, there certainly wasn't any sediment or anything - just water and clean bits. I can't think of anything I missed. When my button broke I decided it wasn't worth saving money as it hadn't done me much in the past. The standard multi-compartment brush worked better for me. Or if you don't want to that the dirty water can be seen because you don't change the water often, do what another local painter does here in town - tall opaque tanks! This product might work well for watercolor artists who don't mind holding the button down all the time or rubbing the ridges with a washed brush to remove traces of the previous color, but I doubt it. I read all the reviews on this item before purchasing it and they were so conflicting that despite the negatives I decided to take a chance. In the end it was the wrong decision for me to take the risk.
