Review on ๐Ÿ”ง ACDelco Advantage 46D2223A: Premium Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint Assembly for Optimal Performance by Joshua Douglas

Shop press must be used for installation

Cannot be pressed with C-tensioner for ball joints. Details are fine. Tried to install it on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marques - couldn't press it in with a C-Clamp press. Most likely, you will need a press for the workshop. Used the same press with clamp C for Nissan Xterra - no problem. Decided to change the whole lever. Revain sells a Moog ball-and-socket control arm for about $95, you'll also need a rubber bumper - $12 on e-bay. (I tried to remove the old bumper from the old lever - the screw was rusty and broke). When I removed the control lever I found that the bushings weren't good either. At the same time, I decided to replace both levers and shock absorbers. Total damage: 2 arms $95 each, 2 rubber bumpers $12 each and 2 shock absorbers $25 each.
