Light gray is more like purple. I love it but be aware. I suspected from looking at the photos posted. Wondering how the blonde got a purple coat, I checked the review and said light gray. So I figured either horrible pictures or not quite grey. Bought large and fits a 42" bust. It zips up and you could probably zip in an inch more if you had one too and love how comfortable it is. The fabric is chic, the stitching is very neat, it doesn't look bulky cheap! I said that light gray is a rich color, in fact, much more beautiful than real gray. It seems to me that it is not as purple as in the photo of the blonde, rather more gently.
