Quality yarn: my feedback

This yarn is super soft. There is enough of it to make a large handmade item of your choice. I use looms to create projects to donate and this is perfect for that purpose. The yarn is high quality. It doesn't fray or split when you try to work with it. It has held up well in the wash. I will be on the lookout for other colors for sure!

Scratchy & smells like isopropyl alcohol

There’s a chemical odor coming from the bag of tiny skeins, almost like rubbing alcohol. The skeins are tiny as shown just barely bigger than a credit card. And not quite 50 grams in weight. 49 with the label. The yarn itself is rather scratchy, I personally couldn’t use it for anything other than maybe a cat or dog chew toy, which would be ripped to shreds in seconds. I had wanted to make a shawl, but it’s just too scratchy and smelly. Maybe I can air it out & soak it in some liquid fabric…

My knitting and crocheting kids love these

I have one child obsessed with knitting and another with crochet. They have been tearing through this 12 pack of yarn, making hats, cat play toys, gloves, scarves, blankets, etc., etc.They tell me that it does not get tangled easily (and that's a big one around here, as the cats inevitably decide it is a toy for them and you typically end up with a rat's nest of yarn, but I guess this is easier to untangle than most.It is soft to the touch and the red is a very vibrant shade.

Soft and beautiful good for me

These are a beautiful and bright shade of red. That was the first thing I noticed. The yarn is soft but not fuzzy. It will be perfect for making hats and scarves because it won't leave fuzzies in your hair or clothes. I'm a beginner at crocheting and these are perfect for a beginner. It is easy to manage and use to make many different things.

Thinner than expected, colors too loud, & skeins are half size.

Too thin, yellow and green colors too loud, and grey color was okay but it was even more thin and different type yarn as it was stretchy. All of it said 4-ply, but it handled like thin 3-ply. Not for beginners; they may give up crochet if they thought all yarn was like this. Also, not a good value as skiens are half the normal size. Photo misleading.

  • I didn’t like the yarn because it had too many nots in the and it was not smooth

Not a quality yarn for my opinion

I didn’t care that the skeins were small but I do care that in such a small skein you have several breaks in the yarn that have been tied together. This yarn is elastic like and not really soft. It frays easily.

Smaller skeins than expected. Nice color.

The skeins were much smaller than I thought they would be, but will be just fine for my hat projects.They come with a few crochet hooks, which is nice, but the hooks are tiny. In my opinion, the hooks are too small to be used with this yarn. It seems very mis-matched. Still, a nice gesture.

Fantastic value. This even came with 2 crochet hooks, but I liked using my own better. But for getting a beginner started this makes a great value!

I had problems finding DK weight yarn in black, so this was what I needed at a good price. But the yarn is not as soft as I expected for a yarn marketed as "soft."

Wouldn’t but again.

The yarn is really thin and the hooks don’t really work with it. It was cheaper and a better deal to buy from Walmart and receive not only better yarn but a better hook. The yarn split a lot as well.

Good value - my new review

This Fuyit 12 Green Acrylic Yarn Skeins, 1310 Yards Soft Double Knitting Yarn with 2 Crochet Hooks for Beginners is a great value with a deep, rich green.Of course wool is nicer but Acrylic is good for many projects and perfect for a beginner.

  • The kit does not include any specialty yarns, limiting the possibilities for more unique projects

Small size on my review.

I had to laugh I was surprised to see how small they are. I tried a sample. I would recommend them. I'm 71 years young. You gotta be patience.

Thin yarn good for Amigurumi

The yarn is a thinner yarn. Would be good for Amigurumi (basically where you crochet small toys), baby blankets, socks or scarves. Seems to be good quality. Quantity and color as described. It came with two crochet hooks that are double ended. Meaning both sides have a hook in different sizes.

Balls were super small and there were places where the yarn was tied together. Very soft and love the colors. If the balls were triple the size, I would have liked them much better
