I didn't take any before and after photos because to be honest I wasted my money trying other things to clean my fish pond. I have a small koi/goldfish pond in my backyard that is overgrown with green algae. You couldn't even see the fish anymore and I was worried. I've tried different chemicals, liquid algae killers, but to be honest I was so afraid of harming my fish that I might not have dosed high enough for them to do their job properly. I've also tried this hay bale thing (barley something?) that's supposed to prevent algae growth with age and supposedly produces a peroxide-like substance? I don't remember the details, but this thing just kept sinking and it took forever to dry before it came up again, so I'll just put the fisherman's skeleton on a hay bale in the fall and use it as a Halloween decoration. Also, I'm selectively lazy and just want something that doesn't require an education or a second job. Long story short it took over a week but I put this light in a filter pump black box that goes straight. in the pond, have let it run for hours every day and now I can see the bottom clearly and I'm so relieved and happy to say it hasn't harmed any of my fish. I am very thankful for this product!
