This product works as described and appears to be well made. The key fob looks and feels like the original key fob. I took a huge risk installing this on a 2015 GMC Sierra HD Denali. I was not disappointed. That works great. It's nice to have PKE and Push-to-Run in a car that should have those features from the start. I've been in the IT industry for 20 years. Installation is not too difficult if you are familiar with DC circuits. Also, I used Fortin Evo All for the CANBUS interface. They make a kit that includes an ignition wire harness for many new cars. This saves you from cutting the factory wiring harness. My advice is not to connect the door release cable and connect the brake cable of the PKE system directly to the brake cable of the car and not to the brake output of the Evo All. You should also set the DIP switches, carefully following the instructions for disabling the plugs earlier. Also, this PKE system does not provide GWR output in a way that Fortin Evo All can use. You must cut the key when installing it in a vehicle with a steering wheel lock. In my case I cut the head of the key very finely and attached it to the steering column to bypass the immobilizer. That was a problem initially, but I realized that you can't start the car without first disabling the PKE system. You need a relay to flash the lights on many of the latest GM vehicles. If your car is automatic you can take what the manual calls "oil pan wire" and just hook it up to 12V DC. It's not as easy as installing a car stereo. I highly recommend this product.
