Review on 🎮 TNP Protective Case for Nintendo NEW 3DS XL LL 2015, Black - Durable Full Body Snap-on Hard Shell Skin Case Cover with Aluminum + Plastic Construction and Hinge-less Design by Ryan Garrison

The first thing I did when I bought the new Nintendo New 3DS XL model was find a hard case for it. My favorite color is black so I wanted a black case. Also, I didn't want to overpay and the TNP case was $12. It was easy for me to put on my new 3DS XL and they fit perfectly. This adds a bit of bulk to the package but makes it easier to hold with larger hands. Everything you need is easily accessible like the 3D slider, volume control and stylus. In fact, I was new to the 3DS and had trouble finding a pen without a case. It sits flush with the outside of the 3DS so I had to flip it over and see where the pin was. In this case, it's easy to feel where the pin is because there's a gap in the clamshell, so that's a pretty big plus for me. The cameras are also open so you won't have any trouble snapping a picture. The only downside I found with this product is that it does not cover the back of the 3DS in any way. If you drop your 3DS on any other side the case will protect it well I think but if it hits the hinge side it has no protection. Due to the nature of the 3DS, I don't see a way to protect this vulnerable hinge, so I'm not deducting a star for the weak point. Using this case is still better than not using it at all, it just isn't perfect protection like the Otterbox Defender phone case for example.
