The xs fits my kitten who was 3lbs and is now 6lbs. It's starting to be tight, but I don't button it all the way up. It still clicks and stays secure. I tried small. She fitted much better, but her shoulders sloped enough that she could slide right out in a wheelchair. She will come to her soon. Update: Their straps are no longer Velcro but still weigh 8.5 pounds. She's an awkward size where the small is still too big, but the XS is starting to get too tight around her armpits. It stinks because the harness design suits my ninja kitty so well.
