Overall this is a good product for the price. The instructions also do not state that the wall mount extension for walls with stands >16" can also be used to center the TV if the position of the stands does not allow the TV to be centered on the wall. The problem with the design is that if you adjust it to the highest possible angle, the bottom locking mechanism won't engage. To avoid this, adjust the tilt angle when the TV is DETACHED from the wall. The maximum inclination angle is reached when it is still possible, i.e. about 1/2 of the possible inclination.
