Foreword, I bought a Power Stop K408 Z23 Evolution rear brake kit with drilled/slotted brake discs and ceramic brake pads a few years ago and have had no problems. They are currently still in use in my car. Car: Acura Integra 2000. Fast forward to today and I needed front pads so I decided to buy Power Stops again. I've read some negative reviews but wanted to make up my own mind as I've never had any problems with my rear power stops. Well that was a mistake. Problems: 1. Miniature rubber boots with sliding pins are too small for the Integra. No big deal since my OEMs have no damage I was going to reuse them anyway. The included anti-seize was quite small, but not that big either, as I always keep a bottle of anti-seize in the garage (but just in case you want to use it, plan on getting some extra anti-seize to buy ). -grab) 3. The main problem is the brake pads themselves. As soon as I installed them and wanted to "slow downβ the new pads (there are instructions on the packaging that will be useful if you are not familiar with this procedure), I stopped a squeak. The high pitched sound is similar to what you hear when your brake pads are worn. Came back, took the tires off and did an inspection and found small pieces of the pad material were coming loose. How unsafe is it? I don't know where the quality control will take place, but after that I have no plans to buy Power Stop products anymore. I had to take the new discs/pads apart and put my old discs/pads back on the car until I got something else. old parts back. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
