I bought them before I went to the mountains. We camped at about 10,000ft for 6 days and walked over 20 miles. You were perfect. Nice thickness (not too thick to make your feet sweat but thick enough to provide a bit of padding). Great stretch, fits my legs perfectly. good height. I have large calves so crew neck socks are a problem for me. They fit great and stay in place and provide a good barrier between my feet and my hiking boots. Even after returning home, these socks have become my favorites!
