This seemed like a great product and it probably was for a lot of people. For me there was no chance. I did a lot of research, read all the reviews and even bought Home Depot industrial grade waterproof Velcro. First I tried the Velcro technique. After installing it, it turned out after about 30 minutes that the back panel of the product, which is attached to the wall plate, was sagging and would eventually come off if I didn't take it off myself first. I ripped it off the wall and decided that since this unofficial trick (what I learned from the reviews) didn't work, I would install it per the manufacturer's instructions. I had read some that suggested the company had improved/updated the retention process so I decided to give it a try. Worked great, about 7 hours. I didn't even have time to shower until my wife was woken up by a loud crash in the middle of the night. The picture above is what I found the next morning. So disappointing! To make matters worse, I kept the product in my bathroom for several weeks before opening it for installation. I checked how to return it and found that the return window closed a week ago. My only option now is to work with the manufacturer (not Revain?), order replacement parts and try again. I don't want to poke holes in my new tile shower so now I have $75 for a product that doesn't work. I see no point in ordering all new parts and trying again. And now I can't get it back. Beware of this product unless you are willing to mount it to the wall with screws.
