My daughter loves these socks because of the fun colors and polka dots and because they don't stand out in her low boots. They have a solid construction and are well made. . We haven't had any issues with loose or unraveling threads. I hope they hold up to months of hard play like our other gold toe girls socks. The material is soft but thin, suitable for moderate and warm weather. Or if, like my daughter, you are quick-tempered and prefer thin socks even when the temperature is 30 degrees. The socks fit perfectly and are snug; they hold and do not slip on the heel. Thanks to 3% elastane, the socks stretch but keep their shape throughout the day. They don't stretch like 100% cotton socks. An additional advantage is the cost. Currently selling for $12 for a pack of 8 this is a great deal. Much better price than I found for lower quality socks.
