Pros: This PS (power supply) is efficient, quiet, cool, reliable and fully modular. I have owned this PS for over a year and it resides in the media center pc which is on all the time. So far it has worked great. Cons: No on/off switch. It's not entirely Silverstone's fault, but modular cables aren't interchangeable from one manufacturer to another. I tried using the Molex Silverstone modular cable in Themaltake PS and the computer complained loudly. A quick check showed that the pinout was different. To make matters worse, I bought a Thermaltake PS and the connections were completely different from my first Thermaltake PS. In short, there is no standardization for modular PS cables. I will buy another one: I bought this power supply for my Media Center PC. I wanted a quiet and powerful hp and this was just the ticket. I really don't need 1000 watts. The peak efficiency of this PS is around 500W. This is closer to what I actually use. I've never paid that much for a PS, but I liked it so much I bought another one today.
