This tofu cat litter is ideal for a house cat or two, but is inefficient and uneconomical for a home with many house kittens. minimal tracking Cons: Difficult to sift with a regular spoon and the 5lb bag doesn't even cover the bottom of the large tray. We have four large cats that require a very large litter box so a bag of litter was a thin layer on top of regular litter. It would take at least 3-4 bags to provide the initial depth needed for solo use. All of the cats didn't mind using the new litter, but one refused to dig in the litter and instead did all her business with the litter. and would not cover. The liquid waste was quickly absorbed and easily scooped up, although sieving the stick-like pieces was difficult and time consuming. Bedding pieces vary from 1/2" to 1-1/4" in length. Solid waste was also easy to collect, but with the same screening problem. The odor was very well controlled and there was absolutely no dust. Overall, I highly recommend this litter if you only have one or two indoor cats; otherwise the cost will be exorbitant. This is a great dust and odor control filler and works exactly as advertised. to cope with an older person like me.
