Review on 🔧 Metra 95-7504 DD Dash Kit for Mazda 3 2004-2009 - Prime Installation Solution by Jonathan Ulsth

I received my double din dashboard kit and installed it this weekend with no problems. The instructions are sufficient and the fit is actually quite tight; Nothing rattles or twitches when I press it. There's a gap of about 1/8 inch between the climate controls and the dash, but it's not as noticeable compared to a standard stereo (unless you're very anal). I bought a single DIN Metra kit (Metra 99-7504). Mazda 3 2004-2009 Single Din Dashboard Kit I decided to give Metra another try anyway and I have no regrets. The only thing that really worries me (which isn't a critical factor for me) is that the color of the kit doesn't quite match the surrounding trim. You can definitely tell it's a lighter black (greyish I think), but that's only if there's a lot of light on it. But hey, you get what you pay for and it's a great economical solution to replacing that huge stock radio with a good in-dash DVD/GPS receiver.
