This product is suitable for my purposes. I have a small noise box I built for recording that needed to fit a microphone. The AT2035 attaches perfectly to the tripod with a shock absorber. However, the cable attached to the bottom of the microphone touches the table. There isn't much room to maneuver the cable. I can't detect any audio feedback as the stand rests on noise-cancelling foam. Also, my mic has a heavy ceiling, so I have to make sure one of the three feet is in front of the mic. It works great for me.
