Not light enough in camping furniture

Therefore this chair is not light enough or compact enough to be very useful as a camping chair. I was hoping to use it on a recent trip it didn't have time for, but on my day trips it's still too bulky and heavy to be worth it. And I'm an old woman who appreciates not sitting on the floor. This CAN (except for the weight) be fine on a night ride because I was more motivated not to be on the ground than on day rides, but it was also difficult to set up. It was ok the first few times but at least 2 times it was almost impossible and then ok again so it's a bit finicky. I figured it would be a good price to just store in the trunk if you just need a chair - and it's a lot less bulky than anything I have. However, this is not the best option for real hiking. I only carry a heavy Wal-Mart bag modeled after my Girl Scout that she "sits" on, but with less bulk. (We used to sew newspapers in plastic bags) But I don't sew, and who wants to carry paper! So just the bag keeps the stickers away.
