I bought these gloves to use while painting. I paint with oil paints and turpentine is not interesting. I have medium gloves and they fit well. I haven't ripped them open yet, but I haven't worn them more than once. Nitrile gloves are great for oil painting because they are resistant to a wide range of chemicals. I would try putting them on a few times if the color doesn't get on it. They are so dense that I'm not sure I could use them more than once even if I could. If you are an artist and are looking for gloves I would suggest buying gloves in a lighter color as these gloves can be a bit difficult to tell if they have color or not.
