Review on πŸ’Ί Versatile Rolling Stool Swivel Chair for Office, Medical, Salon, Tattoo, Kitchen, Massage Work - Adjustable Height Hydraulic Stool with Wheels (Black) by Diane Lane

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very easy to install on salon and spa equipment

In general, the stool is fine. I would give it an average rating and list some features below. Construction: 5 stars (very easy). Quality: 3.5 stars. Execution: 1.5 stars. hydraulic base. No screws, really nothing to snap into place, all the pieces just fit together snugly. Pillow: 4.5 stars, was actually quite firm, leather on the outside (maybe leather, not quite sure). It was sewn evenly and looked almost as expected. The quality seems solid, but the real test will be time. Hydraulics: 4.5 stars, again this seemed very strong, my only concern is this part was pressed in all the way, maybe it's not a big deal but I would be more comfortable with something like a mounting system to hold everything in it to hold space. The movements were smooth and clean. Basis: 1.5 stars, the chair really suffers here. It appears to be an aluminum base, which is fine. But scratches and scrapes everywhere. It's actually not a big deal in terms of functionality, but certainly not a noticeable sight. Also, the videos are very bad. They appear to be made out of cheap plastic, I don't think they will last long. While they were good on smooth, hard surfaces like linoleum, they really didn't work well on surfaces like carpet, even very short, dense carpets. I suspect that simply swapping the rollers will fix the roller problem later, and I probably will in the near future. Overall I think it will do its job well except for the reels which I will eventually replace. It's not the prettiest stool, wish they had finished the base better. And honestly I agree that they use cheap reels to keep costs down as I can always just go out and buy new reels that suit my needs. But I'm not good at fixing the stool base. It should be a stable stool for use on hard floors (garage, office with hardwood/tile floor etc.). Expect the roles to likely need swapping at some point, but other than that the build feels pretty solid, even if it might lack a bit in looks.
