These are awesome headphones that we use to moor our 50ft boat. They are easy to use, the sound is clear and background engine noise does not affect their performance. We first tested the noise issue by talking through a headset, with one of us kneeling next to a hyped motorcycle while the other person was indoors. Surprisingly, both people can speak and be heard at the same time without pressing a button. I've searched a lot on the internet for different solutions and haven't found anything comparable yet. Our procedure for mooring the boat went from yelling and shouting to make sure we were heard, to calm, serenity and pleasure - a real treat. If you have a boat large enough to keep sailors more than a few feet from the captain, you really should have it. The only thing to note is that the slave power button needs to be held down for a few seconds to turn it off (otherwise the battery will drain) and the headset may slip off your head if you look down while wearing it (that have we anticipated). and straps made for them, but they have not fallen off yet).
