I have just received a new drum and toner and am very happy with the quality of this product and how well my prints are coming out now. I suffered for some time with another brand thinking it was a printer but buying a new drum and toner from V4Ink helped. Updated: 12/10/17. After a month of use the drum deteriorated and I started having ghosting on the pages and toner was scattered on the page due to the drum heater not working properly. I ordered another one and returned the defective one within the warranty period. I'm not testing a replacement drum and I hope this one is better. The replacement drum also shows the same problems as the first one. Apparently the double weight paper gap is not set correctly and it is jamming in the drum or toner area. I have to pull it out and then when I try to print on another sheet of paper, toner comes out all over the top of the second sheet. My problem is that I need to print double-sided paper on both sides. use. The first side seems to print fine, when I turn it over to print the other side I have to straighten the top of the page due to a slight curl, or the top of the page bends due to drum feed and it gets stuck. . I've never had this problem with a Brother brand drum, even with 3rd party toner, so it must be something with the drum. to find the parts I should check.
