Review on Sanus MF209 B1 Articulating Discontinued Manufacturer by Bomba Ton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The bracket fits my 32 " Samsung LCD TV perfectly!

I'm the kind of person who researches everything I buy and that was the case when I got this TV -Bought a bracket for my bedroom.Sanus has a great website with PDF downloads for each bracket that includes detailed drawings/diagrams for each bracket.Instructions were fine but Sanus customer service over the phone was very friendly and helpful.Installation Installing a TV in the bedroom requires quite a few solutions that require some thoughts like: - Which TV mount is the best for my specific application? - What size TV should I buy (I bought a 32 inch Samsung) for around $100? Viewing distance 10-12ft. I watch in high definition mostly. TV shows and DVDs) - Best mounting location (where the TV is best ten looks) - How high should the TV be mounted for optimal viewing, lying in bed or sitting or both (I chose 80 inches to the top of the TV). floor - This is for watching TV in bed) - Do you have any accessories? (I have a DVD player plus space for a future component e.g. HD box or XBox 360 so I also mounted a two shelf wall mount to house these components and hide cables Sanus VF2012 Single Column Wall Mount- Component Rack Looks great and provides a clean installation NOTE WARNING!- This system contains glass shelves which may pose a problem for small children or pets.- What connection options do I have and wiring to this location? (I am an electrician running my house built, so hooking up the junction box and cable behind my TV wasn't a problem, although it did require me to work very hard - climb up my attic above my bedroom and crawl around in isolation. With lots of tools (drill, drywall saw, STUDFINDER, etc. ).Making a bit of a mess.Nothing can fix a good vacuum.Another option would be the added cord management system v on Sanus Sanus Systems ELM302-W1 Elements Cable Tunnel (Expansion Pack). While mounting a TV on the wall involves some tricky decisions, a bit of chaos, and some good old elbow grease (or in this case, sawdust, drywall dust, and itchy insulation), it's definitely worth it. it's because the TV looks great, after all. If I weren't the handy guy, I'd suggest paying a pro. The Sanus MF209 worked great for my particular application, but you need to know what you need for your particular application (what size of TV screen, weight of the TV, where will I mount the TV, will I need to tilt, swivel, or two-handed mount, etc.) Deciding what size TV you are going to buy is a good starting point for your decision. Put masking tape on the wall to imagine what the TV will look like in a certain place. Much luck!
