The cork can be removed after 2 years.
We bought this so our 2 year old wouldn't climb out of the first floor windows although this product did scare him a bit, he pulled the cork out the window. I really wanted it to work and was disappointed when it managed to unplug it. Let's go back to the beginning of finding a working window lock.
