I like the real-time display

I care more about accuracy (consistent results) than accuracy with weights because I only use weights to track trends rather than absolute values. I can't comment on the scale's accuracy, but it's solid (I actually bought this model because it's used in my dental office and I love it). Another plus is that it uses regular AAA batteries. But the main thing I like is that it has a very fast update indicator (probably more than 10 times per second). This way you can watch the number after the decimal point fluctuate quickly if you don't stand still. Pretty useful compared to scales that don't display anything and only give final readings. From what I've seen, and I *could be wrong*, the scales also don't store the most recent results like most others do. I think that's a plus because every time I step on it I want a new reading. I don't want previous readings to affect current readings. If anything, the caching that most weights do seems to trick users into thinking they're more accurate than they really are.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
