Review on ☕ Kaffe French Press Coffee Maker: Double-Wall Stainless Steel, Extra Filter Included, 6 Cups (0.8L) by Cathy Wood

I bought these on special offer from the company. Before this model, I had three French presses. They were all of better known brands and they were all made of glass. They all broke at some point, either while washing hands or while cleaning. This prompted me to look for another place to make coffee. Coming back to the French Press, two things I love about this particular model are, first, that it's made of stainless steel. I have no chance to break it. Nothing leaches into my coffee either. Second, the double walls of this product (of course) ensure that the coffee stays hot, which is important for the extraction process. I use James Hoffman's French press method (you can find it on YouTube) and I got a nice cup of coffee. A few question marks about usage: The plastic handles aren't as strong as I expected. They don't seem cheap, but they aren't as good as they could be. Second, the butt cap is double walled, but the butt goes right through. This begs my question, what happens if liquid gets into the double walled part of the lid in tiny amounts over time? Maybe it's sealed, but it's hard to tell. It looks like the design needs some work here. Honestly, if you're looking for a great, well-designed, and reliable French Press, this is a solid choice. The company in particular is very responsive, honest and trustworthy based on my experience with their support staff. I'm going to put one of them in an AirBnB that my parents own.
