The rod corresponds to the description. Basically I am very satisfied with the rods. I bought a rod that extends to 144" for a 126" window. I lifted 4 heavy curtains and the rod doesn't sag. To do this I had to install a center console. I read other reviews before purchasing. I noticed that some people said the equipment was cheap and broken. I haven't had any issues with broken hardware or brackets. If there is a problem with the pole, you must leave a little over 2 inches between where you install the pole and the ceiling. This is because you attach one part of the mount to the wall and then lower the other part of the mount onto it. I have tried to show it in the photos. Having to leave 2 between the ceiling and the curtain rod bracket is only a problem when trying to install 96 curtain panels in a room with 8 foot ceilings, as is common in modern decor for an entire floor to ceiling curtain look. My 96 inch curtains drag on the floor a bit because I had to leave two and a half inches between the ceiling and the bracket. I think I could hem the curtains.
