Plug and play, cheap, works perfect.

Saved hundreds taking a chance on this unit. Has yet to even hiccup. Love the extra money I didn’t spend. I like the good stuff, have Victronix equipment I swear by. But money is money and even the more expensive brands (besides Victronix) have issues with quality control. Many have tried to trust but had the mfg fail them. I bought this one cheap and it’s working like the big name equip. Maybe lucky? I don’t believe in luck.

Pros
  • Works great.
Cons
  • May require additional equipment for large systems

It work(ed) well: my feedback

Update: I jinxed it with a positive review… It won’t charge my batteries any longer and I can’t reach customer service even though it’s under warranty. It lasted a while, but should still be running. If they ever fix it or replace it, it will become a backup. It’s been running my solar array at my cabin for 8+ months. Setup was easily and straightforward. The menu and display is easy to read and navigate, and it seems to really charge my bank effectively, especially for the cost. My only…

high quality product.

ive had this unit for a couple months now an its very well constructed i have it taking in about 50 amps of solar.the only issue i had is about a month in all of a sudden it stopped charging. i attempted to contact the seller but have not gotten a response. after doing some research on others who have had this product i found out that they had issues with it blowing fuses. i took the cover off to find that all 3 fuses where blown. they were easy to change. this fixed my problem. only true…

  • Support for 4 type Battery charging: Lead-acid (Sealed, AGM, Gel, Flooded) and User ( Lithium Battery).
Cons
  • May not be cost-effective for smaller systems

My new MPPT Solar controller

It's been a month since I replaced my standard charger controller with mppt device. It made me over 500 kilowatts of energy and slashed my electrical bill in half. My bill last billing cycle was only $70 compare last summer $150.So far positive experience works well as promised. Love features especially self cooling option. My last controller did not have one and I had to build cooling system to keep it running smoothly.

Pros
  • Trabajando perfectamente, fácil instalación y programación. Instalado en un sistema autónomo a 24v
Cons
  • come on for $190 why so cheap on the wire connectors?they are plastic stripped out first one .

Works well, but limited adjustability, loud fan

I bought this charge controller for an off-grid solar system, to charge Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. I found the settings not quite as precisely adjustable as I wanted for this battery chemistry. The controller is solid, with sizable lugs that easily accepted my 4 gauge battery tray cables. Setting it up was not too complicated, though I did have to search a couple times through the menu to find exactly the settings I wanted, and google was my friend on that count, as the instructions are…

Pros
  • This product is very Going
Cons
  • Requires frequent maintenance

TOTAL CRAPOLA. WORTHLESS

This solar charge controller is worthless. From day one, until 76 days later when it finally died, it has not performed well. The fan is loud, and the unit heats up terribly. It hardly tracks the necessary voltage, and often failed keeping the most available solar watts to charge our bank. I watched it steadily decrease in performance from 7kw a day, down to 1.5kw a day. Cleaned our panels regularly, and still no dice. The fan broke completely a few days ago and we ordered a Victron. Turns out…

Pros
  • This controller is awesome! Great upgrade from my old one. Would highly recommend.
Cons
  • Heavy and difficult to transport

Failed / broke after only 2 months of use.

Notice that the screen locked this morning. I tried resetting the device several times by removing both solar panel power and battery power to no resolution. The safety features of the device stopped working such as if no battery power is present the device does not shut down. If not watched it could start a fire. Also for such an expensive controller it is not up to FCC specifications (United States Federal Communications Commission). It outputs a whole lot noise (RFI) in the VHF bands of the…

Panel keeps dying. on my review.

Unreliable, turns off when there's still power in the battery and won't turn back on with power from solar panels. I have to jump a different battery to the battery terminals to bring it back up.

Pros
  • solar system beginers
Cons
  • May not be able to fully charge certain battery types

only 9 amps going into controller in tight installation

Using this system to charge a 36V golf cart off grid and to produce 120 volts with the puresine invertor to charge model airplane batteries. 2, 350 watt Hyundai solar panels in series provide 72 volts. The solar controller is in a tight space inside a water proof box with custom vents on the top and bottom to direct the fan blast outside. I got a controller this big because of the safey features in case something is done wrong. At 9 amps the fan has yet to turn on. Working great so far. total…

The fan is loud - my new review

One thing this charge controller is noisy when receiving over 12 amps from the solar panels. I can stay in my bedroom and hear the fan how it loud.

Pros
  • great customer service fast shipping and what a good unit very well made, can;t wait for the 80 amp ones
Cons
  • Requires a significant initial investment

Great control and protection in charging

I have this setup in my recreational trailer and it controls the solar charge from my roof panels to the onboard batteries. It was easy to set up and maintains a good charging voltage for my batteries. I like to be able to see the daily and lifetime kW readings. I also like the amp and voltage readings from the panels along with the combined watt rating for the batteries. Excellent quality and ease of use.I initially struggled to get any charge reading from the panels up on the roof; however, I

Love it so much good for me

I freaking love this unit so easy to use and it is robust ive done somethings i should not have with it. it is a little noisy but i know when the sun is shining.also bought their FT-48V6000W and OH MY GOD it was packed so good protective corners all the way around I love it. Keep up the Great work!

Pros
  • Easiest equipment I have ever installWorking great.
Cons
  • Noisy during operation

The battery voltage is way off

Hooked it up seemed like it was okay but what I noticed was that the battery voltage was way off especially when charging the good thing is that it can take larger wire maybe another week and i will see if anything changes if not might send back it the 80 amp version

Pros
  • Generators & Portable Power
Cons
  • May not be able to handle extreme temperatures

This unit is handling the power on my 10- 335w solar panels

I'm really happy with this unit. It's working well. I had a problem with the first unit I got. Returned it & this one is working GREAT.

Pros
  • Everything perfectNothing wrong bro said
Cons
  • Can be susceptible to theft if installed in a remote location

concerned about charging lifepo batteries with this device

Setup was easy and straight forward. I had to hunt for the password in the manual, I wish that was a little easier or if they just did away with a password but not a huge deal. Fan is loud, but also not a huge deal. I have two concerns I will update when I get more info.Concern 1: I have the maximum voltage cut off (running a 200ah lifepo) at 13.8V, conservative, and also factory setting when put in "lithium" mode. When I measure actual battery voltage with my fluke meter, the actual cut off is

Pros
  • The efficient solar charging feature of this product makes it an ideal option for those who are environmentally conscious. The 80A MPPT charge controller ensures that you can recharge your battery without causing any pollution or releasing any harmful emissions.
Cons
  • Requires regular cleaning and upkeep

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not very efficient in my review

Not for smaller applications, the unit itself has its own power overhead that can make your solar system very inefficient, including a backlit screen that never allows the backlight to shut off.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Only suitable for certain applications

Worked Once good for me

Worked great the first time. Then the LCD screen quite working. I think it was still charging but I couldn't tell due to the LCD screen no longer displaying any information. I would recommend spending a bit more and getting something better.

Pros
  • This thing took control as soon as I hooked it up and has been working flawlessly.
Cons
  • Can be easily damaged by extreme weather conditions

Great controler in my review

It is just as described the only thing I can’t find a bt module for it it could have been great the display is easy to read and great value for the money easy to program and it has been working great

Pros
  • I like this
Cons
  • Limited output during cloudy or overcast weather

So far ,so good on my review.

Heard mixed reviews about this controllerI have a small workshop setup. My solar also powers a pond filter and some low voltage lightingWith 4 panels @ full sun I use about 50 percent of this controllers capability. Nice if I want to expand Most of the factory settings where already good to go. Fan is a tad loud ,but unless your right next to it. It really isn’t all that bad.Very much like access to the readings on the front panel.Pretty good unit ,so far

Pros
  • Whether you have AGM, sealed or lithium batteries, this product is designed to cater to your needs. The versatile nature of this product makes it perfect for people who want an all-in-one solution for their charging requirements.
Cons
  • May not be able to handle significant power fluctuations

80 amp solar charger

Works as it should. I use marine batter in my battery bank so was plug and play for me. Upgrading to lithium soon don’t see any problems there just switch the type of battery in the charger

Pros
  • Solar & Wind Power
Cons
  • May not be able to handle large loads or appliances
