concerned about charging lifepo batteries with this device

Setup was easy and straight forward. I had to hunt for the password in the manual, I wish that was a little easier or if they just did away with a password but not a huge deal. Fan is loud, but also not a huge deal. I have two concerns I will update when I get more info.Concern 1: I have the maximum voltage cut off (running a 200ah lifepo) at 13.8V, conservative, and also factory setting when put in "lithium" mode. When I measure actual battery voltage with my fluke meter, the actual cut off is 13.9. I have since bumped it down to 13.7, so the internal meter is off by .1V, which honestly isn't a huge deal, but annoying.Concern 2: As said, I have maximum charge voltage set to 13.7V, however, when my battery hits cut off voltage, the controller is still dumping .5- .65A into the battery (8w or so) into the battery according to its screen. It does NOT seem like it has a hard shut off or go into stand by or wait to cycle. There is no way to set a "stop voltage" and then a "restart voltage" on this device, only a max charge voltage cut off. I am going to use an amp clamp to measure the actual output and repot back, but this concerns me that the devise is "trickle charging" my lifepo battery which does not require, and frankly, should not be, trickle charged or maintained. I have contacted to company for an explanation, but if the amp meter truely shows a small amount of output, I will likely return this and get a controller that actually stops charging when I ask it to.
