Factory Original on Ford Escapes
I have had 5 or 6 Ford Escapes in my family over the past 13 years. The original spark plugs last 100,000 km. The first time I changed a spark plug I tried a Bosch and the engine ran horribly. Got back to Motorcraft originals (platinum tip, good for 50,000 miles) and the engine ran fine after that. Since then I've always used Ford/Motorcraft connectors with some copper based anti-seize in the threads because the intervals between connector changes are so long that you don't want the connector to stick.
