I needed new leggings for skating. Real leggings for skating are not only very expensive, but also always too long for me because I'm small. They also don't tend to come in large sizes. That's how I came across these leggings. They are thick and warm enough for use on ice. They fit well, although do compare your measurements to the measurements provided by the manufacturer - I often wear US sizes XL and bought 3XL which are a bit loose which I like. If I wanted them to be tighter, 2XL would fit me. When skating, I prefer my leggings to go a little over my boot, and they give excellent coverage to my ankle and my laces. I'm ordering a second pair.
