I work from home and also play seriously. I also don't like noise canceling headphones - they're too uncomfortable and I have to hear my phone ringing. I bought and returned several headphones from Amazon before keeping this one. It's not 100% soft and plush like pricier headsets, but it's comfortable. There aren't many great mono headsets out there, and this is one of the best. The microphone works perfectly. no problems or complaints from my colleagues on skype meetings or my gamer friends on raids. I'm not sure if this is top-notch noise-cancellation, but everyone says my voice sounds clear without being distorted by background noise, so I'll assume that's fine. I would definitely buy again.
