The device (in working condition) turned out to be quite competent, fast and inexpensive SSD. Unfortunately, after five months, the drive no longer showed up in the BIOS, or when it did, it reported 0GB capacity. The data is gone from the boot drive, luckily nothing is lost that can't be backed up. At the time of writing, Silicon Power has had my drive for three weeks but is apparently unable to ship a replacement in the mail due to Covid-19 issues. Since I was able to send them the disc (via DHL) I expected they could send a replacement. So now I'm powerless for an indefinite period of time. If you're looking for a value-for-money drive and really don't mind going long periods without a drive in the event of a hardware failure, then this is the drive for you! As for me, I'd like to draw attention to the old adage "buy cheap, buy twice". Every time a new drive is returned to me, it sits in my second M.2 slot as a OneDrive data/cache drive and uses a more reliable drive like Samsung's as the boot drive.
