Dollhouse Review - Requires assembly but nice touches (my kids are 7 & 9)

Okay, I've had this dollhouse for about a week and my kids (7 & 9) have used it quite a bit. Here's what I found: 1) As other people have said, this product doesn't come with an instruction manual, but there are some small diagrams on the box. There's a lot of stuff too. However, I was able to assemble it fairly quickly using the diagrams and pictures on the box. Separate instructions are included with the furniture, although it was easy to assemble these pieces without them. 2) The dollhouse is a little thin. The walls usually consist of thick cardboard inserts that are inserted inside. There are also plastic connectors that you can use to join the three main parts of the house together, but these parts are small and fairly easy to detach. (Also I recommend plugging in the plugs first as this is very difficult once everything is assembled.) Overall this house is solid enough to play with, but it probably takes an adult to move the whole thing around. 3) There is a good selection of wall and window inserts so you can really personalize your home in terms of the type of rooms you want and where you want to place them. The furniture is also pretty cool and well detailed. There are real kitchen utensils, the microwave and the toilet are open, the garden chairs are very realistic, etc. etc. I was pleasantly surprised and my children were very happy. The slide and steps are also a good addition. 4) This is probably unique to my purchase but I was missing some details. For example, a stove to put in the kitchen set, a chest of drawers in the bedroom and a screwdriver that should be with you. Not much but thought I'd mention it. For the price, this dollhouse isn't bad at all. If you don't want to assemble anything and want something that kids can easily pick up and move, this product probably isn't for you. However, for now my kids are having a great time playing with it and that's all that really matters :)
