Review on ⏳ Enerlites HET06A White Countdown Decorator Switch with Multiple Time Settings for Enhanced Energy Efficiency by Ralph Foster

Ordered 4 of these HET06A-Rs to control bathroom fans. They arrived in perfect condition and went straight to installation. They work great and look very nice, modern and functional. Blue LEDs are ok. One review mentioned that he thought the device was warmer than a regular switch, so I used a thermoscan reader and found that the device is a few degrees warmer compared to a switch without LEDs. LEDs generate a little heat, and this is normal. If you haven't changed many switches in your house, you should know that this device has 4 wires that need to be connected in order for it to work properly. In most cases, the switch you are replacing will only have 3 wires: ground, hot wire, and load (the wire carries the switching power that goes to the fan assembly). This switch has a white 4th wire that needs to be connected to the common neutral wire. New homes have a common neutral wire, or a common bundle of neutral wires, in the junction box. Just locate it and then connect the white wire from the new timer, green to (copper) ground, black to the hot input lead and red to the lead to the fan.
