Love the material it's smooth and the velcro is not rough smooth but still tacky Very comfortable and feel the cute pink color i feel a little better when i wear it lol, some braces are ugly, really ugly, this one doesn't stand out, i've only been asked about it by 2 people, i wear it over my clothes on my lower back while i work as i do a lot of standing bends, grabs, and lifts, even if you don't have a serious back injury, wear a simple and comfortable brace (this is definitely not for someone who has a serious injury and needs a huge plastic back panel for support, this isn't for you ) Instead of a huge hard brace, this belt is the sweet spot, it has plastic strips, little lines running down your back, stillc h supportive but not as stiff you feel the plastic digs into you and still moves with you, very adjustable and i'm 170 and 5.3. They run small as they fit well, but larger would definitely be too tight and uncomfortable. Order one size up, the more than the pink straps are tightened at the hips, they should be neat but not sore and not bruising. They give you written instructions with pictures on how to put it on, make sure you wear it correctly, the bottom middle strip of plastic should rest against your tailbone and you want the navel related stuff to be centered. Wearing it wrong doesn't serve the purpose turning it upside down lol
