Works great - the lid protects the surface of the drawer from damage

I've had several graters/graters over the years and generally I liked how they all work but they tend to fade quickly, when used are shaken. kitchen box. This is the first one I've found with a handy lid to keep the tiny blades from bending or getting damaged during storage. Really big grater.
