I bought this because my head gets very hot and my head hurts a lot with regular headwear. But ordinary visors leave a gap on my forehead between the top of the cap and the hairline where I sunbathe. I asked on the forum and was told that this one has more forehead coverage. It has more coverage but not enough for me to wear it the way I like. I like to wear hats low on my forehead to cover my eyes as much as possible. But if I do, I will still have a gap. I need to wear it a little higher and fluff my hair up. It's better than any other hat I've tried and I have a big forehead. I keep it. I actually think it would be better if my sunglasses were a bit taller, so that's ok. Also, I'm wearing a medium sized hat, but I need to loosen the strap a bit to get a good fit.
